snow

I missed Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows Part 2. I did not fly anywhere. My Dad went to Christchurch for work.

Snow

“Are we there yet?”

“A little bit further.”

“I’m squashed next to the Hong Kong lady.”

Then I asked, “I just wanted to say Hi.”

“By the way, how many more people are coming with us?”

“15 people.”

“Where are they from?”

“Hong Kong, China, Maylasia, that’s all I can remember.”

“Here we are at the snow. Let’s catch the bus but I want to play.”

“Go now. But…”

“No buts. We’ll give you some Hong Kong noodles on the way to the bus.”

30 minutes later… Finally:

“WOW” Snow.

“Let’s have a snowball fight.

Later Caleb said, “Look at that huge big hill. Give me a sledge. I’m climbing up.”

“This is going to be easy.” Me and my big mouth.

“Here’s a good spot. Nooo, don’t take photos.”

“Yes,” Mum said.

“OK.”

“Yes, weeee…”

Crash, Boom Bang.

“Ouch, that snow is wicked man. But way too white.”

“Did we pack plasters?”

“Here you go.”

“Thanks Mum.”

“Let’s build a snowman.”

“Get a little snowball. Put it on the ground. Then roll it. Put that there. Done.”

“This snow feels cold. It looks so white.”

“Let’s go home.”

“I’m cold,” I said.

“Here’s a timtam.”

“Thank you.”

“Come on. Hop on the bus.”

30 minutes later…

Rainbow Ski Field is the place to be.

Beach Day

Beach Day

On Monday the last day of February the middle syndicate went to Tahunanui Beach. I was in group five.

First we did a treasure game. It is where we’re divided into teams. There’s two people if you get tagged you go to the other teams prison. The aim of the game is to not get tagged and get the other sides cones. My team won.

In the playground there was some new equipment there. There was a square hammock black thing held by four purple metal sticks. There was a caterpillar balancing beam and there was a climbing rope. Guess what? It spins around. There is a bottom floor and a top floor.

We built sandcastles. We were allowed partners . I chose Zane. We got buckets and shovels to make the sandcastle. We filled the bucket with sand but it didn’t work so we destroyed it. With the sand we patted it down so then we did it again.

I liked beach day.
