On Monday it was a rush to school. Do you know why? It was CAMP! Now lets see if I've packed every thing. Sun block, check- spare cloths, check- togs check- brimmed hat, check- lunch and morning tea for the first day, chec- skate board if want to need safety gear check. In a few minutes later Janice told as what car we where in. I was in Lara's car. The camp was called Bridge Valley Camp. There were all sorts of awesome challenging activates to do there. There were go carts, caving which I scraped my leg when I was climbing up one of the holes, low ropes, kayaking, water slide where there were eels in there. There was a confidence course, fire and damper, swimming pool and lots more. We had tea there. That was a cool day of my life.

The Nervous Kid
The Nervous Kid
There were booms in my heart then suddenly the curtains opened.
On Monday 9 August we did the variety show. The whole middle syndicate and junior syndicate were involved. We did it so we could save up to own our own hall at Nayland Primary. It was at Nayland College.
We did it at night. By the time we got back it was half past nine.
We told the story with our body. One kid was very nervous because our parents were there. The kids name was Tia. Tia was a wooden stiff tree when she was walking forward and when coming back she was a blue light river. When the morepork sound came we went back and sat down. She was bored and tired but luckily for her the variety show was over in a minute.
When it was over we had to wait until our parents came to collect us from the classroom.
Then finally we got to go home. It was straight to bed at my house. It was cold in my house but Dad made me a hot water bottle, then I went to sleep.

The Fight
The Fight
Once there was a village that had a problem. The river birds were
fighting over who was coming first, night or day.
Who do you think will go first?
Maui came along. The birds asked Maui who should come first.
Maui said, “I have an idea. You should take turns going round and round going night, day, night, day.”
Their problem was solved by Maui.

In the backfield of Nayland Primary School there is an ecohut. It was two months ago that we built it. We built it for an ecohut competition and for the children to play on.
It is not very big but maybe you could squish a whole class in each of the huts. The two huts are almost the same size.
The ecohuts are made of hard wood. The windows are glass, they are see through. It is not comfy in the bottom one as it is cold because of the concrete. The top one is comfy and warm because it has carpet
There are two huts. One is underground and one is on stilts.
On the bottom ecohut you climb the steps, then you get on the roof of the bottom hut walk along it and climb the small bridge then you are in the top ecohut. You can go down the pole onto the tyre and walk off it.
The chicken coop is beside the underground hut and underneath the top hut. The chickens are named after our old principals who are Isobelle, Janice and Darryl. They live in a chicken coop. They are special chickens because they are heritage chickens.
I like the ecohut because I think the chickens are cute. I love them.

Poppy is a puppy. She is ten weeks old. She is coming to school.
She is small, fluffy and white. She has dark paws and nose and sharp teeth. Poppy has a red collar.
Poppy is learning how to bark and Poppy likes to chew. Poppy likes the company of Room 10.
She is a West Highland White Terrier.
When we were leaving for assembly she barked. It sounded like a mouse.

Beach Day
When it was Beach Day I did some beach art. It was a fish then we built a sand casrtle, 4 of them all together. Then we came to Janice Cowley we collected things off the beach like shells and feathers and all sorts of things. We got a plece of cardboard and we got to stick them on. We put it in PVA glue then we put on our shells. Then we stuck them. On the the plece of cardboard There was this game You had to run and collect sand. Tom me and Natzu won it. We had to fill the bucket full with sand. The next game there were different colour balls and there. were blocks. you threw them then you threw the colour balls. Trying to get near to the block. Then you win.
